2017 Firesteed Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton Willamette Valley

Tasting Notes:

The 2017 vintage of Yamhill-Carlton Pinot Noir is dark ruby in color with ripe pie cherry and musky rose aromas, followed by tart cherry, plum, and pine on the palate, with a silky texture. Dark cocoa, a touch of cinnamon stick and pleasing acidity highlight the lingering finish.

Vintage Notes:

In 2017, a normal spring followed by a hot, dry summer set the stage for an excellent harvest in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Pinot Noir picking began on October 2nd and continued steadily under favorable weather conditions until October 29th.
