Our newest team addition is the vivacious Mandie Silver. Never, not in the mood for an in-depth conversation, Mandie enjoys the details of family, friends, wine, cuisine, life, yoga, and travel. Mandie’s original business education from UNC Chapel Hill then followed by a culinary degree from L’Academie de Cuisine have provided her an initial enjoyment of salesmanship, fine food, restaurants and writing pairing menus which work well with wines of the world. She is known to cook or bake up a storm of favorites in her hometown of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Working with wine distributors in South Carolina prompted Mandie to pursue her advanced wine education as she currently holds her CSW and WSET 3 accreditations.
Mandie has historically had a love of Oregon Pinot Noir due to its vibrant acidity, red fruit explosive character and compatibility with fusion cuisines.
Representing Oregon wine is for her a first love that can be expressed easily during a restaurant or store staff training and at countless trade shows and wine speaking and educational events which are her passion.
Mandie will be an eager partner with our distributors and Firesteed fans alike as she longs to spread the story and evolution of Firesteed wines, Howard Rossbach, the passion of Oregon Pinot Noir and winemaking.
